I’ve been playing the 31 days of Halloween at Mrs. B’s blog this month, where she has been giving away items donated by various wiccans, witches, and pagans every day.  I wrote her a few weeks ago, and asked if she needed any more items donated, and she noticed that she had no bracelets being given away.  So I was given today, the 25th, as the day I’d give away a bracelet from my shop, Wiccan Magick Shack.

I watched a video yesterday that talked about social networking.  It was very eye opening.  For instance, there are so many people on facebook, that if it were a country, it would be the 4th largest.

I know I twitter about items in my shop, posts I make here, random bits of stuff, and occassionally I search for fellow wiccans and witches.  Well in my search, I stumbled across a woman called Witches Britches, who was twittering about some cabochons she had just listed up on her store, The Witches Britches on Bonanzle.

Multiple tweets later, during which she was being dumped on by a huge rain storm, I ended up buying a collection of small quartz crystal points that were the perfect size to put on the ends of my wands I’m making, at a price I offered to pay.  What a great deal! She got to sell something she had an excess of, and unlike going shopping at a traditional store, I was able to specifiy the exact width I needed max, so I got what I needed.

Well today, she is featured in one of the giveaway’s on Mrs. B’s blog.  She is giving away a really cool tarot bag, covered with bats, and two hand crafted spell candles, and a bag of The Witches Britches all natural herbal divination incense.  How cool!  It made it even better that I had formed a relationship with her the day before, just by searching keywords in twitter.

The youtube video I said that people are paying less and less attention to advertising, and more attention to peer reviews.  I know in this case, it is true.  I wouldn’t hesitate to shop in her store again, and also ask her for something specific that I don’t see listed.  Yes, the joys of social networking, they really are a great thing.

A really cool sign from a store called The Olde Country Crow.  I’ve always loved the looks of Native Americana signs, or signs that are made to look from the 50′s and 60s (Like the style in Mrs. B’s blog pictures).  And this shop has some great ones.  The giveaway is for a Salem’s Witch Academy sign that is really cool.  It boasts to be “Teaching Fine Witches since 1692″.  You too can enter to win at Mrs. B’s by clicking here.

Some really cool stuff.  First up that I like is from the shop Walk In The Woods, Be Inspired By Nature.  You can read about the contest on Mrs. B’s Blog on this page. This artist has created a Celestial Goddess Oil Flask that is filled with a handcrafted anointing oil of frankincense and is hand spun into a cotton cord in a sacred manner, with honor and love.  Isn’t it beautiful?
